Construir modelos de reconocimiento de la actividad simple humana mediante simulaciones 3D basadas en agentes

Al definir mecanismos de interacción entre las personas y la tecnología asistiva, es necesario identificar patrones específicos de la actividad humana para conseguir que dicha interacción sea lo más natural posible. En entornos donde el usuario es una persona mayor, los patrones son útiles para analizar las posibles respuestas del usuario ante escenarios donde las acciones del usuario sobre la tecnología no son del todo precisas. Para conseguir esa precisión, los usuarios deben participar en el diseño de la interfaz, especialmente para aprender de sus hábitos diarios y de sus limitaciones. Con el auge de la inteligencia ambiental y las soluciones asistidas, hoy es posible recopilar información en tiempo real tanto del usuario como del entorno. En este contexto, el trabajo actual propone aprovechar estos datos y aprender patrones de actividad a través del entrenamiento, pero mediante el uso de simulaciones basadas en agentes. El objetivo del entrenamiento es configurar avatares en escenarios 3D para que reproduzcan aquellas actividades físicas que el usuario real no puede realizar o repetir a demanda por su condición física. La validación del enfoque propuesto se realizó en un laboratorio viviente mediante el uso de simulaciones 3D y luego con usuarios reales.
